Digital cup anemometer, wind direction does not affect measurement

Handheld cup anemometer. Undoubtedly, the main advantage of this cup anemometer is that it does not need to be held exactly in the wind direction. Normal vane anemometers have the disadvantage that they can only take accurate measurements if the vane is held precisely in the wind direction. The sensitive cup system responds to even the slightest air current speeds.
