AR2008 Refractometer

With the AR2008 tabletop refractometer, the Brix value and refractive index are electronically determined. The measured values are displayed on an LCD screen of the AR2008 tabletop refractometer. The tabletop refractometer has a measurement range of 0 to 95% Brix and a refractive index of 1.3000 to 1.7200 nD. In addition to liquid and pasty media, solid materials can also be measured with the AR2008 tabletop refractometer, thanks to the arrangement of prisms and mirrors. The built-in 589 nm LED lighting in the AR2008 tabletop refractometer prevents measurement result alterations caused by artificial lighting, such as bulbs and fluorescent tubes, maintaining measurement accuracy through homogeneous lighting. To prevent temperature from falsifying measurement values, the AR2008 tabletop refractometer allows for automatic temperature compensation and connection to a water circuit to temper the prisms. The RS-232 and RS-422 connections located at the base of the AR2008 tabletop refractometer allow sending measurement values to a printer or computer.
