The blu border is thin and lightweight, measuring only 0.5" thick and weighing less than 9 ounces. The blu border has a very wide viewing angle, a 5.5" LCD, and a sensitive capacitive touch keyboard. The blu border is easy to set up, calibrate, measure, log, and transfer data to a computer or USB drive. This meter features Hanna CAL CHECK™ to alert if the HALO pH electrode is not clean or if the buffers become contaminated during calibration. An indicator is also displayed after calibration showing the overall probe status based on the offset and slope characteristics of the pH electrode.
The versatile design of blu edge works just as well in hand, on a laboratory table, or mounted on a wall.

The edge is equipped with a tabletop support with an adjustable rotating electrode holder to load and keep the edge firmly in place at the optimal viewing angle.

Using the wall mount bracket (included), the edge can be placed on a wall, leaving a zero footprint on the desktop space. The base has a built-in connector to power and charge your batteries. The zero footprint edge is designed to save valuable desktop space.

Large, easy-to-read LCD display
The blue border has an LCD screen that measures 5.5" and is clearly visible from more than 5 meters. This is complemented by a wide viewing angle of 150 degrees and has one of the clearest LCD screens in the industry. In addition to its large LCD screen, it also features full-text edge guides displayed at the bottom of the screen. No need to decipher scrambled abbreviations.

blu border uses HALO Bluetooth digital pH electrodes. Once a probe is connected, all sensor information including sensor operating specifications and calibration information is transferred. In standard mode, edgeblu can be automatically calibrated up to 5 points with 7 standard buffers (1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01, 12.45) and 2 custom buffers.
GLP
Good Laboratory Practice function (GLP)
GLP data can be critical at any time with just the push of a button. GLP data includes date, time, buffers, offset, and slope of the last pH calibration.

Check the pH CAL electrode tracking technology
Hanna's exclusive CAL CHECK function analyzes the response of the pH electrode in pH buffers during the calibration process to alert the user of potential issues such as contaminated buffer and clean electrode. After calibration, the probe status indicators are displayed on the measurement screen. The probe status is based on the offset and slope characteristics of the pH electrode.

Multiple data logging modes
Log-on-demand, log-on-stability, and interval logging modes are all available. Up to 200 data points can be recorded on demand and an additional 200 data points for recording samples after a stable reading. The logging interval is adjustable from 5 seconds to 180 minutes. Up to 600 records can be stored in a maximum of 100 interval batches. Logging modes can be initiated from the meter or simply by pressing the button on the HALO pH probe.
USB
Dual USB Ports
blu border can be connected to a USB flash drive from the computer or to transfer recorded data. The micro USB port can also be used to charge the meter.
Rechargeable battery
edgeblu has a built-in rechargeable battery that charges when the meter is plugged into the desktop or wall-mounted support. The battery can also be recharged via the micro USB port with a computer's USB port or directly to the power supply.
