Cable Detector PCE-191 CB

Cable and line detector with voltage in walls and cable channels

The PCE-191 CB cable and line detector is used for locating cables and electrical lines located in walls. It consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter has a connector that plugs into a live socket (max. 240 V AC) and emits an acoustic signal to the live line. You can now follow the cable signal with the receiver through the wall to the fuse. If a cable break is found, the signal turns off. The cable and line detector is the ideal device for detecting cables if, for example, you want to drill walls and are unsure if cables run through that area. The same applies if you need to hammer in some nails, e.g., to hang a picture. It is also very easy to locate undefined fuses in the electrical distribution. Connect the transmitter to a socket of the corresponding circuit and search with the receiver in the distribution for the correct fuse. For all these searches, it is not necessary to de-energize the lines.
