The humimeter FS3 food moisture meter is a professional moisture analyzer with a wide range for determining the water content of a large variety of food types, luxury foods, and grains. Therefore, the humimeter FS3 is also called a coffee and cocoa moisture meter.
Through the integrated data logging, measurement values can be stored in the food moisture meter and additional data can be added. It also has the option to use the hold function. This function freezes the last measurement value on the food moisture meter's display until another button is pressed.
To increase measurement accuracy and reproducibility, the measurement is hectolitre compensated by a precise weight of the sample amount. The food moisture meter is supplied with a scale and measuring cup, ensuring that the apparent density does not affect the measurement result.
The entire food moisture meter series is calibrated and verified according to the EN-ISO 712 calibrable oven drying method.
At the same time, the sample temperature is also measured and included in the measurement result calculation. The temperature range goes from 0 °C to 40 °C and can be set to °C or °F as needed.
The calibrated measurement range of our humidity analyzer for feed humimeter FS3 ranges from 0% to 40% water content (depending on the product).
handling / measurement procedure
To ensure accurate long-term measurement values, after connecting the humimeter food moisture meter, it automatically performs a self-calibration. After that, the corresponding calibration curve can be selected in the moisture analyzer for food.
Subsequently, the measurement chamber of the food moisture meter is filled with the amount of the respective sample indicated in the manual. To determine the exact amount, the humimeter device is supplied with a balance and measuring cup.
The water content can be immediately read on the large, well-lit display of the food moisture meter and can be saved, edited, or printed out via the integrated data logging if necessary.
