The colorimeter and brightness Spektromaster from the 565 series is mainly used in the quality control of many devices. The colorimeter and brightness has the advantage of being able to measure color and brightness in a product simultaneously. Color and brightness define the image of a product, so it is important that two samples with the same color also have the same brightness. Samples of the same color but different brightness do not appear the same to the human eye, because a shiny surface is perceived as more saturated and therefore darker. Control with a colorimeter and brightness is therefore essential to achieve a completely homogeneous image. In development and production, both effects must be continuously monitored. A conventional colorimeter and brightness allows measuring only one parameter at the time of measurement, but not both at once. Simultaneous measurement allows determining the reason for the variation. With the Spektromaster, the colors to be measured are not important. It is not relevant for the colorimeter and brightness whether they are lighter or darker colors. The resolution of 10 nm allows for both precise color values and excellent harmony with other meters. Thus, the colorimeter and brightness significantly facilitates quality control of products. Thanks to the easy menu control with only 4 cursor keys and its low weight of 500 g, this colorimeter and brightness allows for easy handling, even for beginners.
