Googol technology, starting from HKUST in 1999, is the first high-tech company in the Asia Pacific region specializing in R&D, production, marketing, and assisting regulators and motion control systems. Googol technology provides a platform for technological innovation for machine manufacturers, focusing on research in four base technologies - motion control technology, servo drive technology, computer vision technology, and mechanical design optimization. With deepened international and national cooperation, combining production and research, and actively cultivating system integrators, Googol technology's motion control products and systems are applied in a wide range of industries, such as microelectronics, robotics, CNC machine tools, electronic processing and testing, printing, packaging, production automation, and other industrial control uses.
The GSMT series DC servocontrol experimental platform provides the basic experimental device for elementary control and automation courses in electronic and computer engineering, mechanical engineering. Several experiments can be conducted, such as system identification, modeling of the DC servomotor, controller design, and controller performance analysis, etc. With this platform, users can understand the basic principles of PID influence on system performance index, master the method for adjusting PID current controller parameters, speed controller, and DC servomotor position controller, and understand the influence of damping torque and disturbing torque on position and speed control, to learn practical skills in motion control. The series includes GSMT2012, the single motor system based on intelligent servo drive; and GSMT2014, the twin motor system based on the high-performance motion controller GT-400 developed by Googoltech and the intelligent servo drive, which allows real-time control experiments under MATLAB / Simulink, and covers system modeling and stability analysis, time-domain analysis of second-order systems, root locus analysis of third-order systems, frequency response analysis, PID calibration, root locus correction, frequency domain correction methods, and state feedback. By contrasting different control methods, one can better understand control theories and learn their applications. Additionally, Googoltech also provides the GSMT2004 platform of the DC servo control without a controller that allows users to flexibly integrate their own development controller or third-party controllers. The GSMT2004 model comes with DC servo motor sensors, encoder,
