This decibel meter measures the noise volume of the environment simply, in decibels. The decibel meter can indicate the difference between normal noises and high acoustic pollution in the environment, mechanics, and industry. The decibel meter has an RS-232 interface; the interface cable is not included in the shipment. Our decibel meter is used by restaurant, bar, and nightclub owners to monitor the noise level inside the establishment. This ensures that neighboring residents are not harmed by ambient noise. Often, potential acoustic pollution can trigger discontent, which can often be avoided with the simple use of a decibel meter. The PCE-353 decibel meter has different functions. You can select between the measurement functions Lp, Leq, and Ln. Additionally, there is the possibility to adjust different measurement modes. There, the decibel meter allows, for example, to measure as the human ear perceives sound. With a measurement range from 30 to 130 decibels, this decibel meter covers a wide and important range of sound. Mobility is guaranteed, as the decibel meter is a battery-powered device, easy to carry, and suitable for taking measurements anywhere. Optionally, you can also request custom software for this product, which will help you transfer the measurements taken with the decibel meter to a PC for evaluation or storage.
