Cold extractor for quick and efficient extraction of fat before fiber analysis, directly into the crucibles that will be used for root extraction.

Samples to be treated for the determination of crude fiber must have a fat content of less than 1%. If the fat content is higher than 1%, a preliminary extraction using acetone, hexane, or petroleum ether is necessary.

The COEX allows for rapid degreasing of samples, inside the same crucibles that will be used later in the Fiwe 3 or 6 extractors for the subsequent determination of crude fiber.
