The large display of the refractometer shows the measurement value in percentage volume or in degrees °C and the current temperature of the water-antifreeze mixture. Measurement errors that may arise in purely optical refractometers due to artificial light radiation are avoided by an integrated light source. The ABS plastic housing, the measuring cell with stainless steel ring, and the glass prism provide good protection against mechanical damage.
