The RM 100p is a mobile digital viscometer that operates according to the principle of the rotational viscometer. The digital viscometer works without spring or torsion wire. The digital viscometer rotates a test tube in the fluid to be measured using a cylinder. From the torque that the integrated motor of the digital viscometer must achieve, conclusions about viscosity are drawn. Since viscosity strongly depends on temperature, the RM 100p digital viscometer can optionally be equipped with a PT100 temperature sensor. The RM 100p digital viscometer has a special probe separate from the display, making the device ideal for mobile use. The digital viscometer is mainly used in the food, chemical, and construction industries, but also in the pharmaceutical industry and training workshops. The serial or USB interface along with Visco-RM software allows transferring the result of the digital viscometer to the PC. Up to 34 different speeds can be set on the digital viscometer for viscosity measurement. The RM 100p digital viscometer can determine viscosities ranging from 1 to 510,000,000. The digital viscometer display can show temperature, speed, or loss of speed, torque, viscosity, measurement system, and time.
