The HD300 can simultaneously display airflow in CFM / CMM or air velocity plus ambient temperature and features an infrared thermometer that measures surface temperatures up to 932 degrees F (500 degrees C) with a 30:1 distance-to-target ratio and a laser pointer.

How is a measurement from the Air Mudanza anemometer?

Anemometers measure moving air with a rotation sensor that acts very similarly to a weather vane and can be compared to the blades of a fan. The blade rotates freely in response to the airflow, and as the air moves through the blade, it turns in proportion to the air speed.

What is CFM / CMM?

Cubic feet per minute (CFM) or cubic meters per minute (CMM) are units of measurement for air volume measurements. This is a measure of the amount of air that moves through an air duct, passageway, or enclosure. In order to determine this, the duct area must be measured. The area value (in ft² or m²) is entered by the user, via a button or the keyboard on the meter, and an air speed is determined.
