The flow meter is a venturi tube for measuring flow in pipes and ventilation ducts. Thanks to its one-piece polypropylene housing, the flow meter is a venturi tube that is easy to handle. The venturi tube is manufactured according to the DIN EN ISO 5167 standard with coupling profile according to ISA 1932. The flow course, which is crucial for measurement, is achieved through a special deformation procedure of the thermoplastic material. The venturi tube has a very high flow accuracy because the connection flange is optimally centered, allowing for quick installation in the pipe. Due to its extremely smooth surface, the venturi tube has very good flow conditions. The venturi measurement principle is used to measure the flow velocity of gases. The pressure in the venturi tube reaches its minimum value at the narrowest cross-section of the tube, which means that the air flow velocity is highest at that point.
