FM 6 Electric and Magnetic Field Meter

The FM 6 radiation counter is a type of universal instrumentation for measuring electromagnetic contamination. With this tester, you can measure electric or magnetic fields. Thanks to its ability to display effective values according to TCO/MPRII standards and its high precision, the FM 6 radiation counter is perfect for all types of professional uses. The two detectors responsible for measuring electric and magnetic fields are installed in the same removable sensor so you can work comfortably, quickly, and without needing to change sensors. On the other hand, the external sensor of the FM 6 includes a radiation diagram function that will allow you to locate the source of the interference while consulting the measurement results on the screen. The FM 6 has three measurement ranges for alternating electric and magnetic fields to record both low-frequency intensities, such as those that can originate in living rooms or bedrooms, and high-frequency intensities found near technical installations. With a wide bandwidth of between 16 Hz and 100 KHz, the FM 6 can record a large number of alternating electric and magnetic fields: from those generated by trains at a frequency of 16.7 Hz, through those of the power grid at a frequency of 50 Hz, to higher frequencies to detect alternating electric and magnetic fields generated by screens and switched power supplies. The FM 6 also includes two frequency filters to distinguish the electromagnetic contamination present in the components of traction current or in the high-frequency fields of various electronic devices. To achieve a more complete electronic field measurement, you can also adjust the potential of the meter in two different ways: you can either take the potential of the person being measured or that of the ground connection. Another highlighted function of the FM 6 is the effective value conversion function. With this function, which is only offered by much more expensive devices, you can comfortably convert all types of signals. Additionally, this function will also allow you to perform measurements for compliance with TCO/MPRII standards or emission protection. The FM 6 display is large, with a clear layout and various energy-saving functions. The meter also includes a sound signal generator to perceive the field intensity more easily.
