The PKT-4055 function generator generates analog signals based on direct digital synthesis (DDS). With a frequency range of 3 MHz (sine wave, other waveforms 1 MHz) and 16 different waveforms (sine, triangle, rectangle, etc.), the function generator can be applied in multiple ways. In addition to amplitude and offset adjustment, this function generator offers the possibility to vary the symmetry of the output signal between 1 and 99%. Depending on the selected amplitude, the function generator activates an attenuation of 20 to 60 dB, to achieve greater amplitude resolution and better interference distance. Of course, the attenuation can also be manually adjusted by the user. The frequency sweep function allows checking a frequency range by previously adjusting the interval. The function generator is operated via function and number keys as well as a rotary knob, while a 6-position LED display indicates the current frequency. The function generator offers a resolution of 10 mHz across the entire frequency band. Thanks to the RS-232 port, this function generator can be remotely controlled from the computer.
