The GS-400 gas leak detector is a leak locator that can be used in various application areas. The leak detector is suitable for both commercial and industrial use. The GS-400 can detect leaks of a wide variety of gases and liquids in pipes. Among other things, fuel tanks, air conditioning units, water lines, gas lines, and many more. The leak detector features a color LCD screen, 320 x 240 pixels, allowing for clearer and easier use. The innovative use of menus is performed via the keys of the GS-400. The main body of the device requires no maintenance, as only sensor calibration is necessary. Therefore, calibration of the equipment itself is not required. This, in turn, means that there is a wide range of sensors available. One sensor covers three ranges, including five types of gases. The possible gases are natural gas, methane, propane, butane, or hydrogen. Currently, there are three sensors available. The GS-430 sensor is specifically indicated for methane, propane, butane, and hydrogen. The GS-440 gas leak detector sensor is specifically designed for refrigerant gases. The third sensor in the GS-433 range has specialized in tracking hydrogen-nitrogen mixtures. Sensor exchange is performed via the special connection located at the top of the device. The device operates on 3 AA batteries. There is also a variant with a rechargeable battery. The device does not display any error messages in the presence of detergents or alcoholic liquids and can be updated via software. The creation of new sensors is planned, which will allow for expanding the versatility of the GS-400. The gas leak detector includes a measurement range of 1 ppm to 100% LEL.
