Gaussmeter with triaxial probe for magnetic fields
The magnetic field gaussmeter has a triaxial probe to determine electromagnetic radiation. The magnetic field gaussmeter has been specially designed to measure in transformers and assess magnetic fields generated by computer monitors, televisions, industrial electrical installations (magnetic separators, electro-motors...). This instrumentation for magnetic fields complies with European regulations (European Union Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive IEC 801-1 (EN 50081-1) as well as the requirements for laboratories and measuring instruments IEC 204 (EN 60204). With the triaxial probe, you can save on conversions for each specific axis. This small magnetic field meter has specific features for industrial use but is also suitable for laboratory settings. Simple, fast, and precise.

Information on electromagnetic fields
Electromagnetic fields originate from the use of electrical installations and devices. They can have a strong influence on our body depending on their frequency. The consequences can range from general discomfort and nervous excitement to internal burns. Therefore, based on occupational protection laws and industrial regulations, it is necessary to determine the risk to workers exposed to electromagnetic fields.
Basically, there are two areas of influence, the so-called exposure areas 1 and 2:
Exposure area 1 covers all controlled areas, e.g. industrial electrical workshops and company-controlled areas. It includes general access areas where brief exposure is guaranteed due to the installation's mode of use. This brief exposure refers to a work shift. The safety officer can determine electromagnetic radiation in Gauss or Tesla and classify it with the help of the device. Specifically, with a technical energy frequency of f = 50 Hz in exposure area 1, the limit value is considered 1.36 µT, in area 2 the value is 0.42 µT.
