The PCE-MFM 3000 gaussmeter is ideal for measuring both dynamic and static fields. The gaussmeter is perfect for measurement in magnetic valves or relays, making this type of instrumentation especially suitable for the industrial sector. This is very important, as it is necessary to quickly check if a valve is functioning correctly or if a relay still switches. The PCE-MFM 3000 tester measures the magnetic field created through the housing. Thus, it will not be necessary to open the housing, allowing for quick and precise function checks. Thanks to the very flat tip of the probe, the external probe of the magnetic field tester can be inserted through small slots. This is particularly advantageous when measuring air-core transformers. The gaussmeter is also useful for explaining and demonstrating the behavior of a magnetic field, as the numerical indication can clearly detect an increase or decrease in field intensity. Thanks to the small measurement ranges, this gaussmeter is well equipped to safely measure small magnetic fields. Especially button magnets or magnetic guides have a very weak magnetic field that can be detected with this meter.
