The PCE-PGM 100 gloss meter allows measurement with geometries of 20º, 60º, and 85º. The gloss meter uses the principle of reflection for measurement. This means that the gloss meter sends a beam of light onto the surface to be checked. Part of the light is absorbed by the surface and another part is reflected. The gloss meter captures that light and calculates the degree of gloss. Thanks to the wide measurement range, this gloss meter can be used on many types of surfaces.

These features make the gloss meter especially suitable for quality control and incoming material inspection. The included software allows for easy subsequent analysis of the measured values.
