With up to five different sensors, four additional analog inputs, and an easy-to-read LCD display, the compact MSR255 data logger offers maximum flexibility and is easy to operate.

The user-selected measurement tasks define how the MSR255 is configured: Temperature, humidity, air pressure, and light sensors (located internally within the box or externally on a cable) are selected in conjunction with a sensor to measure acceleration in the 3 coordinated axes. Acceleration values can be measured at 3200 Hz and saved at a frequency of 50 Hz following digital filtering. Additionally, the voltage of four channels or external sensors can be recorded. The analog inputs feature an alarm output, switched power supply, and an input to start and stop data recording.

The memory capacity of the MSR255 is over 2 million measurement parameters. Thanks to its high-capacity lithium polymer battery, the data logger is ideal for long-term information acquisition applications. The 4-row LCD display features 4 individually configurable views. All collected information can be quickly transferred to your PC or laptop via USB interface.

Instead of internal temperature, humidity, air pressure, 3-axis acceleration, and light sensors, you have the option to select the corresponding external sensors (not connectable) for the MSR255 data logger.

4. Does it require 4 additional inputs to connect other sensors?

There is an option to expand the possible application range for your MSR255 by specifying four analog inputs. These additional inputs allow external sensors to enable a wide range of measurement functions. If necessary, these external sensors can use the internal battery as a power source. The device can be automatically powered on before measurements are taken at a predetermined time. This takes into account any pre-heating period that may be necessary for the sensors.
