The online viscometer RM 100L is a process viscometer that operates on the principle of rotation. In the online viscometer, a test sample with the fluid to be measured is rotated by a cylinder. From the torque that the integrated motor of the digital viscometer must achieve, conclusions about the viscosity are drawn. Thanks to its construction in a measurement chamber tube, the online viscometer RM 100L can be directly integrated into a process. For this, the online viscometer operates in both high and low flow rates. Through the Visco-RM software and the integrated serial interface or USB interface, the measurement results from the online viscometer can be automatically transferred to a computer. Additionally, the online viscometer can be directly connected to a printer via a parallel port. Since viscosity strongly depends on temperature, the online viscometer RM 100L can optionally be supplied with a PT100 temperature sensor. For viscosity measurement, up to 19 different speeds can be set on the online viscometer. The online viscometer RM 100L can determine viscosities ranging from 1 to 1,000,000 mPa·s.
