The insulation tester is used to measure electrical installations, especially to check the insulation of floors and walls. The measurement value is displayed directly on the insulation tester. The LCD screen field consists of a backlit dot matrix where menus, adjustment options, measurement results, and help texts are presented. Depending on the country where the device is used, the operating menu will appear in the desired country's language.

The insulation tester is very easy to operate. The multifunction key allows one-handed operation to select from the menu and perform the measurement. Basic and secondary functions are selected with the help of four buttons. The five battery symbols from empty to full constantly inform about the current charge status of the batteries or accumulators. Automatic disconnection of the device when the accumulators or batteries are exhausted. Integrated charging control circuit to ensure the charging of NiMH or NiCd accumulators. During self-check, control images can be retrieved, and the indicator LEDs and relays can be checked. The soft plastic coating protects the device from damage due to drops and impacts.
