The PCE-IT413 insulation tester belongs to a series of robust high-precision devices with a 6-position display. This insulation tester has been specially developed for field service personnel and for complicated measurement conditions. One of its advantages is the comprehensive protection circuit to prevent measurement errors caused by leakage currents. The insulation tester is equipped with a CMOS microprocessor and has optical and acoustic alarm signals. The unlimited precision of the insulation tester's calibration is guaranteed by having been factory calibrated for high-precision digital measurements.

Measurement indications through an insulation tester:

- Disconnect the voltage

- Remove the bridge between N and PE

- Disconnect the fuses, LS switches

  and FI and the consumer.

- Connect the measurement lines between the

  phase conductor and PE and then between the

  phase and N conductor, connect the device to

  insulation test and perform the measurement.

  We find it reasonable to take a measurement

  between the phase conductors to detect with

  more ease of damage or aging of the

  lines. The minimum resistance values

  isolation must be in a measurement of

  voltage of 250 V DC 0.25 MΩ, at 500 V

  DC 0.5 MΩ and at 1000 V DC 1 MΩ.
