The CEL-246 sound level meter features a simple user interface made up of two 'soft keys', representing the options displayed at the bottom of the screen. This makes the sound level meter very easy to use, and all configuration changes are retained the next time the unit is powered on. To accurately measure fluctuations in noise levels, the CEL-246 sound level meter measures average values, integrated over time: Leq for European standards and Lavg for the American standard. In addition to the numerical indication of sound pressure and equivalent sound pressure (LAeq or LEQ), the digital sound level meter CEL-246 offers the possibility to graphically represent the development of the measured values. This way, the noise level development can be directly observed on the sound level meter. For a more accurate observation of the measurement values, it is recommended to visualize the measured values through the CEL-246 digital sound level meter software.
