The fiber optic LAN analyzer sends a high visibility laser beam to detect breaks in fiber optic cables. The laser of the fiber optic LAN analyzer operates at a wavelength of 650 nm, so it can be used on single or multiple fiber optic cables with a maximum length of 3 km. The PCE-VFL fiber optic LAN analyzer makes breaks, weak points, and defective splices visible. At these defective points, the laser visibly exits from the cable of the PCE-VFL LAN analyzer (Visual Fault Locator). It can be adjusted to send, in addition to a continuous and permanent laser beam, an interrupted laser beam. Therefore, you can use the fiber optic LAN analyzer to locate (Tracing) individual fiber optic cables, saving you a lot of time. The PCE-VFL fiber optic LAN analyzer also allows you to identify fiber optic cables with excessive bend radii.
