The portable handheld viscometer, equipped with a dip probe, is exceptional for determining viscosity in containers (up to 6 m deep). Additionally, the handheld viscometer can be applied directly without sample preparation. Once the measuring probe is submerged, viscosity and temperature are measured simultaneously. 1980 measurement values (including date and time) can be stored in the viscometer, and if desired, the values can be transferred via the integrated Bluetooth interface to a PC or laptop. The handheld viscometer withstands the most adverse environmental conditions (-40 ... + 85 °C). The backlit display is especially useful for measurements at night. The viscometer is primarily used in the oil refining industry. However, it also has applications in the food and transport industries. Measuring viscosity directly on-site in the container or tank makes this handheld viscometer especially effective, saving time and money. The handheld viscometer has ATEX certification.
