Heidolph MR Hei-Tec magnetic stirrer for greater safety

  • An independent safety circuit disconnects the heating at a programmed operator temperature value above its setpoint temperature
  • An additional operational safety step is required to change parameters that prevents unwanted changes to the actual configuration
  • The digital display allows for easy configuration and monitoring of values in the illuminated reading. Speed adjustment from 30 to 1400 rpm with an accuracy of 1% and speed adjustment temperature of up to 300 °C
  • Residual heat indicator Hotplate on the digital display lights up when the unit is off and the plate temperature is above 50 °C to prevent accidental operator injury
  • To protect your sample from overheating, a safety circuit disconnects the heating if the temperature sensor is not immersed in its vessel media
  • An independent on/off switch for heating prevents unintentional upward heat. If the heating is activated, the on/off button lights up for visual control.
  • Upgrade this magnetic stirrer with the optional Pt 1000 temperature sensor for precise temperature control, overflow protection, and reproducible results



Preferred use of the MR series magnetic Hot Plate Stirrer include smooth to intense mixing and heating of low viscosity fluids. Your first choice for the decomposition of organic and inorganic substances. With a heating power of 800 W, the hot plate reaches a maximum temperature of 300 °C in a significantly reduced time. Safety circuits prevent overheating of the cooking plate: if the temperature exceeds, the heating will turn off immediately. The strong magnetic field allows for stirring media or volumes of 20 liters of water with even higher viscosity easily. The speed is adjustable from 30 to 1400 rpm with an accuracy of ± 1% for gentle mixing. Rapid heating times and chemical resistance of the top plates are no longer a competitive advantage. The aluminum top plates allow for immediate heat transfer for fast heating times, and a fine ceramic coating makes the top plates resistant to chemicals and scratching.
