The Pioneer air cutter completely removes for full cleaning of all components in seconds. Periodic cleaning helps prevent sample contamination and extends the life of the scale. A standard cover in use provides additional protection against spills and minimizes damage to the display and keyboard. Three user-selectable environmental settings help the balance adapt to hostile environments and other disturbances for greater weighing accuracy. A front-level indicator eliminates the need to look behind the scale during the leveling process - a quick glance at the indicator in front helps ensure the scale is level before each use. A comprehensive safety support prevents unauthorized movement or theft. An RS-232 interface allows connection to a printer or PC for logging the scale's identification, user, project ID, and time.
