PCE-FM50 Tension and Compression Dynamometer

This dynamometer is microprocessor-controlled with fast and accurate readings of tension and compression. The dynamometer is equipped with a mounting device for a force testing station (as an accessory). It is powered by batteries or by an adapter to the mains (500 mA power supply available additionally). The dynamometer display can be rotated 180°, so that when measuring tension or compression force, it is always in the correct position. 

To transmit the force measurement data to a PC or laptop, optional software can be used along with the data cable. The smallest data transmission interval to the software is 2 seconds. The load cell can be fixed to the LTS 20 test stand using an additional mounting base. The test stand is ideal for tensile and compressive measurements in quality control and laboratory experiments.

Transmission of measured values

With the software, every 2 seconds a measurement value is transferred to the PC. However, the dynamometer provides data more quickly: during data logging, it can send a value from the dynamometer to the PC every 0.25 seconds via a Windows hyperterminal

With the RS-232 interface and the software available for the dynamometer, you can quickly and easily transfer data to a PC. The software indicator allows you to adjust and visualize the measurement time interval. The indication is digital and in the form of a diagram.
