The LAN multimeter-analyzer PCE-LT1 is the ideal meter for a quick check of network connections. With the LAN multimeter-analyzer, you can check 8-pin data connectors with RJ-45 plugs and coaxial cables with BNC plugs (via an attached cable adapter) for continuity, connection, and short circuits. The LEDs sequentially display (manual or automatic forwarding) the communication pin of the tested cable; with a short circuit, more than two LEDs light up simultaneously. You can also check patch cables as well as cables embedded in walls (with the remote unit, you can check cables installed in a panel or control console located 300 m away). The LAN multimeter-analyzer PCE-LT1 finds the most common configuration errors in Ethernet in seconds.
