The optical USB interface connects the TRMS digital multimeter to the PC. Through the included software, data can be inquired and recorded on the PC. This way, the user can use the measurement data obtained by the TRMS digital multimeter for further analysis or documentation. The optical interface ensures galvanic isolation between the TRMS digital multimeter PCE-UT71D and the connected PC. This ensures that any possible interference between the PC and the TRMS digital multimeter does not affect the measurement result. The software for the TRMS digital multimeter is compatible with all Windows operating systems.

The TRMS digital multimeter is used to check electrical circuits before commissioning. The technician can therefore reduce and exclude sources of error beforehand. With the TRMS digital multimeter, the true effective value of alternating voltage or alternating current can be measured up to 100 kHz, direct current, direct voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequencies, temperatures, and 4 ... 20 mA power loops. Additional components allow the user to start measuring directly.
