The HI 981402-02 is a robust pH meter designed for continuous measurement, equipped with an LCD display. The housing of the pH meter has IP54 protection against splashes. The pH meter is supplied with an HI 1286 electrode with a plastic body, double junction, and gel electrolyte. This special electrode, with a PTFE diaphragm, is highly resistant to clogging and therefore suitable for monitoring industrial waters. It is easily replaced thanks to the BNC connector protected with a rubber cover. The pH meter has a red alarm LED that activates when it exceeds the threshold set by the user (selectable from pH 3 to 11) by a value greater than approximately 0.5 pH (hysteresis). The calibration of the pH meter is performed manually at 1 or 2 points through the front adjustment capacitors. Thanks to the housing having IP54 protection, this pH meter is suitable for installation in harsh environments with high humidity or dust. The practical hook on the pH meter allows it to be fixed directly to the desired point. The 12 VDC power supply provides continuous control without interruption.
