We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of our original pHep pH tester.
When Hanna launched the pHep in 1986, the world of pH testing changed forever: what used to be a cumbersome, technical, and costly procedure became as easy as 1-2-3 at a fraction of the cost. Millions of users worldwide could now accurately check pH with a handheld digital meter. The pHep brought electronic testing to the farmer who needs to monitor soil, the quality control operator in a food processing plant, the treatment plant operator at the local water facility, and many others, including the home brewing enthusiast, winemaking, gardening, hydroponics, and aquarium maintenance.
This year, the pHep turns 30 and we are celebrating it again.
If you are looking for the original, low-cost way to test pH, you can do it with us, the company that innovated pH tester technology. The pHep is manufactured in our ISO9001 European state-of-the-art factory. This meter should not be confused with similar ones that are not from our facilities. If it is not from Hanna, then it is not the same meter.
