12V uninterruptible power supply

The UPS1212 uninterruptible power supply is a 12v uninterruptible power supply with management for charging a backup lead battery and automatic switching to it when the mains voltage disappears. Among the features of the uninterruptible power supply are its microprocessor control, protection against short circuits, overloads, overheating, and monitoring of battery voltage in standalone mode to prevent over-discharge. The switching when the mains voltage disappears is done using very low internal resistance MOSFET transistors in just 30ms.

The UPS1212 uninterruptible power supply comes in a robust DIN rail enclosure incorporating terminals for network connection, battery, 12v output, and network failure signal. This uninterruptible power supply features a network failure output with TTL levels that can be used along with our Hermes TCR200 telecontrol system to obtain a power failure alarm system at a remote station. Voltage stabilization is achieved through switched regulators in the secondary for maximum efficiency and reliability.

The unit operates in four distinct modes:

- RED OK: The UPS provides battery charging and power at the 12v output. 

  LED permanently on. Low network failure output.

- FALLO RED: The UPS powers the load from the lead battery. 

  The LED diode blinks short once per second. High network failure output.

- SOBRETEMPERATURA: The temperature is excessive, power and load are cut off 

  of the battery. The LED blinks long once per second. 

- LOW BATTERY: In POWER FAILURE mode, the battery voltage has dropped to a level 

  dangerous, the battery is disconnected to protect it. The LED remains off.
