Radiation meter for ionizing radiation

The RKP is a personal radioactivity meter for use by all individuals professionally exposed to ionizing radiation. The radioactivity meter alerts to dose rates exceeding 10uSv/h (1mR/h); under these conditions, the alarm emits a "beep" approximately every minute, and when sounding, the alarm emits a red flash. Below this radiation rate, the radiation alarm remains silent. The radioactivity meter does not have an On-Off switch; it operates continuously once the batteries are inserted into the unit.
