Radkeeper Radiation Counter

Radiation counter for ionizing radiation

The RKP is a personal radiation counter for use by all those professionally exposed to ionizing radiation. The radiation counter alerts to dose rates exceeding 10uSv/h (1mR/h); under these conditions, the alarm emits a "beep" approximately every minute, and when sounding, the alarm emits a red flash. Below this radiation rate, the radiation alarm remains silent. The radiation counter does not have an On-Off switch; operation is continuous once the batteries are inserted into the unit.

- Constant and unconscious application of the ALARA principle

- Automatic improvement of work procedures in a natural way

- Minimization of accumulated user dose (time, distance, and shielding)
