The LAQUAtwin B-721 salinometer is waterproof with a large LCD screen. It is the only pocket salinometer in the world capable of measuring salt with a flat electrode, uniquely designed with the latest HORIBA technology for measuring microvolumes. The replaceable electrode uses the same measurement principle as the sodium ion selective electrode; however, the B-721 only requires a few drops (0.3 ml) to provide a quick and accurate analysis. This salinometer converts Na+ concentration into NaCl concentration.

The salt concentration of a solid sample can be easily evaluated by placing the sample directly on the sensor. Measurements can also be made on samples such as liquids, pastes, and powders. Furthermore, the B-721 can be used as a traditional salinometer by immersing the electrode in a liquid. Finally, an absorbent paper allows us to analyze micromaterials starting from 50 μl.

The wide measurement range it incorporates (from 0.1 to 10%) allows measuring high concentrations without the need for dilution. The B-721 does not use reagents.

Other ions can falsify the results of an ion electrode. The selectivity coefficient is an expression of the affinity between a specific ion species and the electrode. *1: When using sample paper B. Close the small protective cover. In the case of a sample containing particles, use the 'sample paper holder' (sold separately).

*3: Repeatability in the measurement of a calibration solution after calibration.

*4: IP67: does not give errors when submerged in water at a depth of one meter for thirty minutes. However, the product cannot be used underwater.
