Mechanical durometer for measuring hardness of 

soft rubber, rubber, and elastomers in general

This durometer is a standard model for measuring the hardness of rubber (Shore A). This durometer consists of a measuring device with a measuring head and a glare-free 360° dial with a reading accuracy of 0.5 hardness units. It complies with all these standards: DIN 53505, ISO 868, ISO 7619, and ASTM D 2240. The durometer is shipped calibrated with an included ISO calibration certificate. The device can be recalibrated at any time accompanied by an ISO laboratory certificate (additional cost). As an optional component, the PCE-A durometer offers a testing station and control testing equipment to monitor the accuracy of the device on-site. You will always obtain high precision and reproducibility rubber hardness measurement results whether using the device as a handheld unit for sporadic product control or combining it with the testing station.
