Mechanical durometer for measuring the hardness of soft elastomers and textile fabrics

The durometer is a standard model for measuring the hardness of soft elastomers and textile fabrics (Shore O). The durometer consists of a measuring device with a measuring head and a glare-free 360° dial with a reading accuracy of 0.5 hardness units. It complies with ASTM D 2240 standards. The durometer is shipped calibrated with an included ISO calibration certificate. The device can be recalibrated at any time with an accompanying ISO laboratory certificate (additional cost). As an optional component, the PCE O durometer offers a testing station and control testing equipment to monitor the device's accuracy on-site. You will always obtain highly precise and reproducible hardness measurement results for elastomers and fabrics, whether using the device as a handheld for sporadic product control or combining it with the testing station.
