The digital tachometer is a meter for determining revolutions, speed, and distance. The handheld tachometer can measure in two ways: either optically and thus without contact, or mechanically using different adapters. In optical measurement, a beam of light is focused on the object to be measured, which reflects off a reflective tape attached to the object, indicating the rotation frequency. The result appears on the 5-digit LCD screen. The distance between the digital tachometer and the object to be measured can reach up to 600 mm. The mechanical measurement of revolutions is performed with a tip adapter that is placed on the shaft of the moving part. For speed or distance measurement, a wheel adapter is placed on the tip. A digital adapter allows measuring distances and speeds of threads, wires, or fibers (glass) with the digital tachometer. The digital tachometer is supplied with a protective cover and a robust case with all accessories. A factory calibration certificate is also included, allowing the tachometer to be used as a calibrator. Comprehensive operating instructions complete this equipment. The digital tachometer is very useful for installing machines and facilities, as well as for maintenance, checking, or laboratory development work. It can measure revolutions of motors, turbines, pumps, stirrers, centrifuges, or transport systems, as well as lengths of threads, sheets, or bands.
