Approved gas detector (ATEX II 2G EEx iad IIC T4)

The Tetra gas detector alerts to flammable and toxic gases such as carbon monoxide acoustically, optically, and by vibration. Additionally, the Tetra gas detector always displays the current measurement value of carbon monoxide and other gases on the large LCD screen. The Tetra gas detector can detect up to four gases simultaneously (e.g., carbon monoxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, methane). The most common gas combinations can be found in our online store (CH4, H2S, CO, O2, and O3). More than 16 different sensors for various gases are available for sale for the Tetra gas detector. Below you will find a summary of the different gases such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide among others. It is also possible to equip the detector with just one, two, or three sensors. If needed, an additional one can be added. Thanks to the smart electronics in the sensors, no calibration is required when adding the new sensor. Calibration is performed beforehand at the factory, and the calibration data remains stored in the sensor. It is recommended to recalibrate every six months, but by law, recalibration must be done annually.

The gas detector is operated with just one button. Additionally, the detector saves data when a limit value has been exceeded (event memory). Ideally, the gas detector should be carried as personal protection attached to the body, clipped to the belt. It can be used, for example, when traversing channels and in the chemical industry.
