The PCE-WB 20SD thermal stress meter measures the WBGT value indoors and outdoors, black globe temperature, humidity, air temperature, wet bulb temperature, and dew point temperature. The thermal stress meter PCE-WB 20SD is designed for an objective assessment of working conditions in extreme weather conditions. In the industrial environment, objective criteria for determining a measured level for outdoor physical activities can be very helpful, as they provide clear guidance for taking appropriate measures. The U.S. armed forces developed the basis for WBGT measurement for their training camp, and it has since extended to workplaces and sports activities. The WBGT index is useful for work break guidelines and restrictions on intense activities. With the thermal stress meter, you can read temperature and dew point values and store them on the memory card. If conditions vary, an acoustic signal sounds. With the PCE-WB 20SD thermal stress meter, you can log up to 99 measurement values in real-time, automatically at intervals of 1 to 3600 seconds, or manually by pressing a button. This means that values can be stored as proof of environmental conditions at a specific moment. You can read the stored values on the SD memory card on a PC using a spreadsheet program.
