The disposable thermometer PCE-OWL records temperatures between -30 and +70 ºC. The memory of the disposable thermometer PCE-OWL allows storing up to 14,000 values. The disposable thermometer is mainly used in transportation. It is often vital to control the temperature, especially in the transport of food. Depending on the need, you can adjust the recording frequency. You will find the adjustment times in the "Technical specifications" section. Since the device comes pre-configured, configuration errors are excluded. On the back of the disposable thermometer, you will find two stickers with the same barcode. Thanks to such stickers, it assigns unambiguously, as you will find the same barcode on the thermometer. This allows you to identify which logger recorded in which environment. The handling and startup of the disposable thermometer is very simple. After installing the software on your PC, you can start the thermometer. To start recording, you must press the Start / Stop button. You can then stick the disposable thermometer on the goods, as it has an adhesive backing. There is also the option to place the device in the package. The flat design allows for recording without worrying about space. If you need to stop recording, simply press the Start / Stop button again. You can then read the recorded data on your PC. To do this, you must start the software. Connect the disposable thermometer via the USB interface, and the program will automatically indicate the recorded values. The software is extensive and allows, among other things, to transfer data to Microsoft Excel or generate a pdf file. This allows for subsequent analysis of the values acquired with the disposable thermometer. It is also possible to set a high and low alarm value.
