The PCE-IR 425 thermometer has a temperature range of -60 ºC to 1000 ºC. The thermometer has an optical resolution of 50:1, allowing for precise non-contact temperature measurement of very small surfaces. Thus, with this thermometer, you can for example take measurements in boilers, ventilation or air conditioning systems without the ambient temperature or adjacent surfaces influencing the measurement value of pipes. The thermometer can also be used versatilely in the automotive industry. You can quickly and accurately detect the temperature in engine test benches. You can also measure the temperature of freshly painted or lacquered parts without leaving measurement marks. The thermometer can be used in other fields of industry for maintenance and conservation, especially ideal for measuring moving parts or under current. The particularity of this thermometer is its short response time (<1 second) without having to touch the object to be measured. This thermometer is also used with a dual laser beam in the food industry, as products should not be contaminated. The thermometer offers the possibility to adjust alarm functions and the degree of emission on the object to be measured.
