The USB decibel meter PCE-SDL 1 detects noise levels between 30 and 130 dB and stores them in internal memory. This compact and robust mini USB decibel meter, with a large memory (up to a maximum of 129920 data records), is mainly used for prolonged recording in many different sectors. The device operates as a standalone logger, recording all noise levels over the desired time period. It can transmit all values to a computer or laptop at any time. Data storage can be done directly from the PC, or you can set it so that the USB decibel meter starts recording with a time delay on-site. Once the values are transmitted, they can be analyzed on the computer. Additionally, the software included in the shipment creates a graphical representation of the process. The software also allows for alarm limit adjustments. An LED light flashes when these limit values are exceeded. The internal clock with date allows the user to accurately assign results. A special feature is the power supply of this USB decibel meter through a long-lasting 3.6 V lithium internal battery. Depending on usage, the battery life is approximately one year. The tripod connection and wall mount also allow for prolonged data recording with the USB decibel meter.
