MICROPROCESSOR FUNCTIONS

The LCD screen continuously indicates the process parameters. It shows the program number, temperature, and time, and on the second line provides information about the phase of the sterilization cycle.

 Thus it is visualized with a cycle in progress:

• PURGE-HEATING: Air purge and heating.

• HEATING: Heating and pressure increase.

• STERILIZING: sterilization period upon reaching the programmed temperature, and while the sterilization time lasts.

• COOLING: Cooling phase (due to natural heat loss) that lasts from the end of the sterilization time until the END OF PROCESS.

• END OF PROCESS: Notification of the end of the sterilization cycle which does not occur until the autoclave chamber reaches 95 ºC, at which point the lid can be opened.

PROGRAMAS PROTEGIDOS

The autoclave comes from the factory with four protected programs, which are the most commonly used in sterilization practice, and are as follows: Programs from P4 to P9 are left free for the user to program according to their needs.

STERILIZATION WARRANTY

The microprocessor checks throughout the sterilization cycle that all phases of the cycle are carried out correctly. Thus, during a cycle, some error messages can be displayed on the LCD screen, which are:

• PROBE FAILURE: Broken or faulty temperature sensor.

• HEATING FAILURE: The autoclave has problems in the heating phase to the programmed temperature.

• TEMPERATURE FAILURE: The autoclave has temperature maintenance issues during the sterilization phase.

• POWER FAILURE: While the sterilization cycle was being performed, the autoclave lost electrical power. (This is not actually a malfunction. In any case, the sterilization cycle is aborted). Models AES-110 and AES-150 are only supplied for three-phase current 220V or 380V + neutral.
