For reliable cross-testing
In blood transfusion centers, one of the daily routines is performing cross-matching tests. With these, it can be verified if the donor's blood and the recipient's blood are compatible. The Hettich washing centrifuge assists you in this task: with it, you can carry out the laborious steps of this test comfortably and reliably. La ROTOLAVIT Hettich is a high-performance washing centrifuge with which you can easily and safely perform cross-testing. First, the remnants of blood plasma are removed from the erythrocytes in various washing phases. This process is carried out automatically. The appropriate amount of washing solution can be evenly introduced into the 12 or 24 test tubes of the respective rotor and mixed with the presented blood drops. After centrifugation, the washing lotion supernatant can be decanted. For each cycle, up to a total of nine washing phases can be performed. Then, human anti-globulin Coombs serum is added manually to detect possible agglutination after a final centrifugation. You can also perform the search and differentiation of antibodies with absolute reliability using the washing centrifuge. ROTOLAVIT.
