The PCE-PA 6000 ammeter is a tabletop instrument that measures active power, apparent power, power factor, energy consumption, AC and DC current and voltage, resistance, and frequency. The large LCD screen of the ammeter is easy to read and measures 93 x 52 mm, providing various results at once, e.g., watts, cos φ, ACV, ACA. Current and power measurements can be performed directly with the supplied test leads or indirectly with current clamps. The ammeter also offers the possibility to connect industrial current converters with a transmission ratio of 100/5 A or 1000/5 A. With the optional PCE PA ADP power adapter, devices with grounded plugs (up to 16 ACA) can be easily and safely connected for measurement and analysis with the power meter. This type of instrumentation features an RS-232 data interface, with software that allows data transmission to a PC for easier processing and storage. Therefore, it is the ideal device for use in workshops or for measuring power, as well as for detecting faults in devices on-site.
