The ammeter allows for easy measurement of voltage, continuity, and current with a compact and simple tool. To perform measurements with the ammeter, you only need to select the measurement function. The rest is done automatically by the ammeter. The ammeter is a robust device capable of withstanding drops from three meters. It can remain connected much longer than solenoid testers and also indicates electrical intensity. Battery life is up to 400 hours, extended by automatic disconnection. The open jaw current measurement function allows you to check current up to 100 A without interrupting the circuit. For this, the open jaw must slide over the conductor, which is enabled by the OpenJaw™ function of the Fluke T5 ammeter. It can also measure voltage up to 600 V AC/DC or 1000 V. The voltage measurement level with the ammeter depends on each model. Additionally, resistances up to 1000 Ω are measured with the ammeter. The ammeter's display ensures good readability. Open jaw ammeter models are available as individual devices and in a kit with many accessories. Additional components that may be very useful depending on the field of application are included. At the bottom of this page, we inform about the exact contents of the shipment. Thanks to the weight and dimensions of the ammeter, simple measurements can also be made in hard-to-reach places.
