Gamma Scout Online Alpha, Beta, Gamma, X Radiation Meter

Radiation counter with internal memory and software / for measuring X-ray doses

This professional radiation counter is an accurate measuring instrument for alpha, beta and gamma radiation. For this purpose, this Geiger radiation counter has a wide measurement range and can be used for sporadic in situ measurements as well as for long-term measurements or for simple inspection.

The radiation counter provides a certified measurement of natural ambient radiation and artificially elevated radiation up to 500 times the adjusted limit value.

The applications are multiple; for example, it can detect minimal natural radiations, as well as X-ray radiation in the medical sector. This Geiger radiation counter has commonly been used in atomic power plants. It is becoming increasingly important in the control of imported materials, as well as in the measurement of irradiated foods. It can also measure natural radioactive radiation, such as that found near the sea. It serves equally in the control of construction materials in factory renovations ...

There are three versions of this radiation counter: the standard version in model GS1, with acoustic signaling (Ticker) in model GS2, or the version for continuously sending data to the PC (Online) in model GS3.

Radiation counter values can be stored in the memory of the same radioactivity meter and can be transmitted and evaluated on a computer using equipment included in the shipment (software and USB data cable). This equipment can be used for on-site radioactivity measurements. With the Gamma-Scout Online (GS3) model, data can be continuously sent to the PC in pulses of 10, 30, or 60 seconds.
